My role as a therapist is to listen, understand, reflect and formulate ideas about what is going on with you, what patterns I see, and what we can do to work towards resolving any current or past conflicts. Your role in this work is to explore, articulate, be curious, and work towards change.
Psychodynamic psychotherapy promotes change in how people experience themselves, the world, and their relationships through developing increased self-awareness and insight. This technique can be used to to address anxiety, depression, interpersonal issues, trauma, identity issues, life transitions, self-esteem, career changes, grief, and stress management.
